Benefits of Our Wastewater Treatment System

Kaimana Regen, LLC

Wastewater Treatment Center

  • Allows many wineries and agricultural processing facilities to use a single permit to treat both process water and domestic sewage eliminating the need to separately comply with the recently adopted Winery General Order for wastewater.

  • Frequently allows for elimination of septic permits on existing wastewater streams

  • Treats wastewater to a standard that allows land application for irrigation or other uses.

  • Reclaiming wastewater reduces dependence on wells and municipal water supplies.

  • Frequently allows leach fields and ponds to be removed and land returned to beneficial uses.

  • Enables wineries with combined wastewater of 20,000 gallons per day or less to treat water without a strict nitrogen requirement.

  • Allows a single, well-defined sampling and monitoring plan

  • The system is monitored by a smart control system providing remote monitoring and system controls. The owner can perform routine maintenance.

  • Includes complete documentation -“as built” drawings, Operations and Maintenance Manual and training.

  • Permit requirements govern land application and other benefits. Site and permit requirements vary and are identified in the engineering report accompanying a permit application. Over 100,000 GPD other permits and general orders apply.
